Biography

Usman Okai Austin (born 1 August 1985) is a Nigerian political activist, social crusader, and citizen journalist from Kogi State. He is widely recognized for his fearless advocacy for democracy, good governance, and the welfare of the people of Kogi State. Austin Okai is also the Editor-in-Chief of Observers Times, one of Nigeria’s leading online news platforms.

    He later ventured into social activism and citizen journalism, Founder of OBSERVERS TIMES, an online newspaper organization promoting accountability, development, and democracy in Kogi State.

Usman Okai Austin was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Yahaya Usman in Emewe Opada, Biraidu District, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. He was primarily raised by his grandfather, Alhaji Usman Adaji Abocho, a successful businessman, before joining his father after his grandfather’s passing. He is happily married to Mrs. Fedoje Bridget, CEO of FedoBee Skin Care, and they have two children.
